From time to time, a member comes up with a great idea that we know will be a very successful fundraiser.
In 2021, we started the KCR EMERGENCY FUND and it turned out to be a good thing indeed, with tornadoes and fires and motorcycle accidents, we exhausted the fund and then some. This year we need your help to replenish the fund so that we can again help out families in our community that come on hard times through no fault of their own. Check out the WHEEL OF NAMES fundraiser below to see how you can help...

In 2022, we announced a new program that benefits kids of all ages. BIKES FROM BIKERS is designed to provide bicycles (new and used) to BGC (Boys and Girls Club) who will then distribute the bicycles to kids and teens who would otherwise not be able to get one. Look below to see how this program works...
The Wheel of Names is our preferred way to host an online raffle. We are always looking for donations of items to include in the raffle. All proceeds of the raffle go to support the KCR Emergency Fund.

This event was a great success. In less than 2 hours we gave away over $8000 in bicycles. The need for this program is overwhelming. We will be doing the same thing again next year with a few tweaks to how we do it along the way.
To donate money, message us on Facebook, send an e-mail to info@kcr-rc.ca, send an e-transfer to donations@kcr-rc.ca with “Bikes From Bikers” in the comment section or as always contact a KCR member.
Thank you to all those who donated bicycles this year. We would also like to thank Canadian Tire & Sportchek (Lindsay Stores), Cochrane Property Maintenance, and Keeley Ward Realtor for their generous donations to the program.
We raised $3403 with raffles and bug runs and started the
KCR RC COMMUNITY EMERGENCY FUND. We have donated $4,300 from the fund and from donations from members to emergency situations in our community.
We were able to raise $600 and with all the winners donating their prize money back, we were able to donate $1,000 to BGC KAWARTHA FOUNDATION.
Very excited to be donating over $8000 in toys to the KINSMEN TOY DRIVE. Come out and add your donation to the pile on December 4th at the Lindsay Canadian Tire from 10am to 2pm.
The 10th Annual Ride For Youth was the best one yet. KCR RC will be making a donation of $3,000 to the
LION'S CLUB
CAMP KIRK FOUNDATION.
KCR RC and KLFS had a great day! $4513 + $487 (50/50 Draw) makes a combined effort of $5,000 raised for our local food banks.
Despite bad weather, we had a great night! With donations and the auction we are able to add $3100 to the KCR CHRISTMAS HAMPER PROGRAM
A cold rainy ride through Algonquin Park and managed to raise $360 to help a local family dealing with CANCER.
We are always amazed by the amount of support we get and are able to give! This year we have raised & donated
$24,304!
